Radiological / Nuclear HazMat Training

The San Diego Fire Rescue Department has requested REST LLC to provide their personnel with two days of NFPA 470 training for Radiological / Nuclear HazMat Emergency Response at the Technician / Specialist levels. Participants will receive updates and refreshers in the cognitive information necessary to respond safely to these low-frequency / high-risk events. These modules will be followed by multiple drills and exercises to enhance their skill levels in both small and large events, including RDD plumes over a one-square mile area. The training will conclude with updates and practice of Radiological Decontamination.
